If Kelly fails to make the Playoff would you be okay with firing him and hiring Gruden?

People will shite on the question and I don’t blame them.
But I will say this for conversation sake.
I can’t think of a guy that would feel like a better fit (from attitude to personality to coaching style) than Gruden.
And I feel like he’d totally buy into the atmosphere of Tiger nation.
Almost feels like it would be too perfect.

Didn’t Gruden get fired or resigned for saying something racist and anti gay? The blacks folks usually aren’t cool with people on the down low, but it might be hard to explain why you used the N word on a recruiting trip if indeed he did say such a word.

No let’s get a younger proven coach like Saban was or hot young Kirby.
That being said we are not getting rid of Kelly he will retire at some point but not be fired.

Gruden is not coming to lsu. This is like the 1970s when people would say fire McClendon and hire Joe Paterno or Bo Schembeckler.

I do not think Kelly would be fired if he does not make the playoff. We would owe him way too much money to fire him anytime soon. Hypothetically speaking, I would be ok with Gruden as our coach. Not sure how that would impact recruiting considering his history and the reason why he was fired from the NFL.
