Cracking the Top 25

With the way the Tigers are playing, I'm surprised they have not cracked the top 25 yet. Do you guys think we should be ranked by now?

Not really. We haven't really beaten anybody outside of the SEC except for Washington St.

S. Carolina winning against UK is irrelevaent...it just balances out...we need SEC West teams to beat East teams.

frick no dude...we are beating teams in a VERY weak conference...it doesnt really matter anyway

What will we have to do the rest of the season to make the NCAA tournament? This is besides the auto bid from winning the SEC Tournament.

Yes they will be when the new polls come out. Tomorrow evening or Mon.? And yes they do deserve it. Give them a break guys. Did any of you expect them to be (17-4)(5-1). Come on.

I think LSU should be ranked and UF, SC, and possibly still UK after 2 straight losses will get votes.

No we shouldn't be ranked. If we would have beaten Xavier then we'd be ranked right now. I do think we deserve to recieve some votes though. If we beat Georgia and Bama next week then we'll be ranked in the next poll.

I think LSU is on the threshold of being ranked. they have done plenty so far to justify being ranked. I could care less about sos, the conference is weak etc. they are playing well and outside of Utah have been competitive in every game.

Yes.
But will we be on Monday? No. We don't have any votes in either poll right now, so we won't suddenly jump from zero votes to enough to be in the top 25. We are going to get some votes, though.
But if we beat UGA and Bama next week pretty handily, then I think that may be enough to finally be ranked.
