I think when I was in school you had to have a low 3 GPA and a 23 on the ACT. Heard it got much tougher. What is it now?

They changed it to a 12 on the act and a 1.5

Tops was great back in the day but now that I’m paying for it they should get rid of it

It was a 21 on the ACT back in the early 00's I believe. Not sure what the GPA requirements were, but 3.0 sounds about right.

yes, even though the flavor didn't last 10 seconds.

Yea, they definitely need to raise the requirements. And i always thought they really didnt need to pay people who got higher test scores. The free college was nice enough.

They have added some pretty specific classwork requirements while the student is in high school.

Gpa is irrelevant these days because of grade inflation. They have kids in the ghetto with a 4.5 gpa that make an 11 on the act

Yea, I think the 3.0 gpa was a good requirement. but should definitely be paired with ACT/SAT scores.

What a dumb thing to do. We need less kids going to college.

Tops has turned into a money grift for colleges. Tuition has gone up by leaps and bounds once they found out they can get so much money out of everyone in the state.

After so many years I think we can see that it has made no difference to our state.

many people think having a degree is the ticket to a cushy lifestyle

I wish schools would quit pumping that lie into kids’ minds

We live in a society where some want to get rid of math and reading because reasons. Grading scales are going ti the 10 point scale if not already.

Things are going to get easier for the kids, not harder.

They finally lowered the ACT reqs for homeschoolers. What does it matter if homeschool Billy gets a 20 and public schooler gets a 20?
