Interesting Vlog from Adam Carolla, who's been keeping up with the "progress" on the Malibu fire rebuilding.

TLDW: There is none. This area is 80+% deep blue. Voting has consequences. Remember: more bureaucrats, more politicians, more government is never the answer.

Here's an episode a few days after the video above. It shows him calling his prediction 12 hours after the fire on what would happen 6 months from then, i.e., right now, and he was dead on because it ain't rocket science.

To be a Democrat you have to be evil to the core, dumb as a stump, or both.

A whole lot of them are just extremely ignorant and don't pay attention to anything. Example: a friend was going on and on that republicans were violent and get mad when they don't get what they want; he pointed to Jan 6. When I brought up the BLM riots, he had never even heard of them. Floored me.

This is similar to my stance on all politicians, especially local.

They're either crooked, incompetent, or both.

If they're crooked but not incompetent, there is a chance for good things to get done.

If they're incompetent but not crooked, there is a smaller chance for good things to get done.

If they're both, you're in New Orleans, St Louis, etc.

Ehh, that's where it belongs and I'd rather hear Roseanne sing the national anthem than listen to his voice

"self-proclaimed"

In reality, no one would consider him a moderate.

The OP brought up who California votes for. That's political.

Not sure how much people expected to be done 6 months after this. The insurance process alone would take months. As he said most of those houses on the coast he was showing were second homes, so yes some people may not be moving a breakneck speed. It took people over a year to re-build in Lakeview after Katrina.

Who they vote for has had a direct impact on the rebuilding. That's not political, that's a fact.

.

There are people trying to rebuild with cash and the city/coastal commission wont let them as Adam predicted immediately after the fires
