Pool umbrella holes….

Just wondering if anyone has a tip to keep the umbrellas in the holes the pool builders leave for umbrellas. I have several of them around the pool and a few on the tanning deck in the pool, but a small gust of wind and they are gone. Like a flying umbrella spear.
I’ve looked on Amazon and other places for rubber stoppers to help keep them in place and have come up blank, or they don’t fit. Appreciate any recs…..

A picture would be very helpful here.

we found on etsy a guy that 3d prints "sleeves" that fit in the holes that make the umbrellas fit better so they do not lean
etsy pool sleeve
this is not the same ones but similar. ours had no threads

My pool was just finished. Unfortunately my dogs keep tracking sand in from the yard to the tanning ledge. The good news is the sand settled around the umbrella pole and it now feels like it’s cemented into the fricking pool.
Worth a try anyway.

I cut a 5 gallon bucket down to about 3 inches, put a piece of oilfield pipe in the middle, and poured concrete in the bucket. Once it cured, I pulled the bucket off it and put the concrete anchor above the hole for the umbrella and fastened the umbrella to the concrete anchor. Works reasonably well.

My buddy did this except he used planter pots (the cheap black ones) from Lowes. And then painted the concrete black. I also think he put PVC pipe in the concrete instead of drill pipe.
They look pretty good because their tapered, I honestly thought it was something he bought until he told me.

Ha. I actually painted the concrete black also. It doesn't look the greatest, but I had my umbrella tied to a orange bucket with dirt in it until I made the concrete anchor. And I used drill pipe because I've been building pipe fences and I have a billion cut ends from the jobs I've done.

I was looking for options recently and found these. I haven’t done much research on them but looks like a decent option, plus gives you a table with it for the tanning ledge.

Almost looks like a job for a pool noodle.
Cut it to fit and I bet it would work...maybe not aesthetically pleasing but functional.
How deep are those holes? Cut it to fit below the surface a bit and you would probably never see it.

I have a piece of wood 2 foot tall that wedges down into them and the place the umbrella over the wood.
Remove the wood because water swells it up and it's a Pain to get it out.

You didn’t say how the sleeve was made?
Is it just pvc pipe or an actual sleeve like aquastar makes ?
If so the sleeves above mentioned work very well and will hold the umbrella straight and tight.
Amazon version

I would smear some silicone on the umbrella post before you insert it. Get some soft silicone, like the clear one available at Lowes. That should hold it in place, but let you take it out when you are ready.

They make some that wedge in the brass and then have a set screw to hold in place. A good storm you still need to collapse it but it’ll hang in for a while.
I’ve tried all kinds of crap
