Will protests against American Eagle be as effective as the Chik-Fil-A boycott?

I dont think anyone buying American Eagle gives enough of a shite to boycott them.

This whole dichotomy between the bud light marketing frickery and American eagle is showing where our country really is now versus then. Look at stock performances. Easy indicator

Honestly this has got to be a massive boost in sales for American eagle. I hadn't heard or thought of the brand in years.
I'd imagine a lot of white nazis are buying their jeans now. And by white nazis...I mean all of us evil white people. I married a white woman, had white kids and a intact family for decades so by today's standards I am literally Hitler lol

When and why did people protest either company?

To what extent are people actually protesting American Eagle vs. to to what extent is is just random attention whores on social media saying something polarizing on social media for attention, because outrage gets attention.

The average person not aware of any of this in real life

Like the WSJ and Yahoo News putting out stories about how the CEO is a member at the Maralago club?

Here's a random attention whore on social media- the Wall Street Journal.

The Chick-fil-A boycott was not at all effective in my area. The place is packed every day.

We spent $635 in AE today and $0 on Bud Light the past 2 years or more.

I'm still boycotting them.
They got rid of coleslaw, the cheap bastards.
Well, I'm boycotting at least until wife wants a Sausage Scramble Bowl for breakfast next week anyway, then I'll have a biscuit.

Violent Hip Swivel won't be back to address this. He's a cowardly liberal. I can't imagine the mental gymnastics it takes to live like him on a daily basis and try to make excuses for this kind of complete horse shite.

It’s not the people buying American Eagle, it’s the dumb woke tards. They think they’ll convince others to join their lunatic causes when they boycott companies. In reality it just shows the normal people who acknowledge their morals which companies they should be supporting.

That's the only thing I eat there. If that is out, I'm not getting anything. Great company, great service, not as good on food. Just my opinion on the chicken game today.

Like me, prior to this week, I had no idea who Sweeny was and haven't heard of American Eagle in 20 years, but here the liberals are outraging and making headlines so now I know who Sweeny is and I know American Eagle is still a clothing company.
American Eagle and Sweeny just got a billion dollars worth of PR on what was originally a $10m ad campaign because liberals are stupid.
Is there a better way to describe it? Is there something I'm missing? The media people are already hinting it was planned... lets outrage the liberals and sell more textiles.
