I love that they lean into the cheese. It's a show based on a crazy car/murder fantasy. Just run with it. Don't make it too deep.

Yeah but for a show about crazy car/murder, there’s decidedly less of that so far this season. Need less drama and more twisted metal: black, ya know?

The start to this season as been slowwww. Not a fan early on. Some good stuff being introduced but then they immediately go back to boring story lines.

seems like it could be a budget issue. I wasn't even aware it was coming out soon. Only saw it advertised after I logged in the peacock app. Did they do any ads during the Hall of Fame game?

I remember seeing it advertised but I don’t remember where.
I binged S1 on Tuesday and Wednesday and watched the first three episodes yesterday. I’m really liking it so far and it’s fun to try and guess who is what character and what game references they make.
I do find sweet tooth to be a little different and I preferred his season 1 persona to S2.
Edit I hated that it took so long for S2 to release but I like how they’re releasing chunks of episodes at a time and all of S2 will be released by the end of the month.

Well they didn’t have the money for Sydney Prescott so maybe it was a budget issue. Still have Will arnett though so that isn’t bad. I’m trying to swim through the masked lesbians storyline to get to some fun. Calypso is cool too though I liked his portrayal in the lost game of Twister Metal a bit more. Seems like they are going for a more Twisted Metal 2 calypso which is cool.

Axel character design is really good. Kind of expected it to be Terry Crewes when I saw the silhouette.

Give me some Sgt, some farmer, some priest, basically give me some twisted metal: black. I don’t mind the goofy nature of the show, but I’d like it to dip its toes into some scary shite too.
