LSU Depth Chart - Fall (Day 1) [1 image]

[Updated with gratitude to your sharper eyesight]
Here is the latest that we can discern from today's practice and Brian Kelly's post-practice interview.
• We got a two-deep from BK on the Offensive Line. This is reflected in the Depth Chart below. However, there is speculation that Carius Curne (LT2) could compete for a starting spot at RG, since Josh Thompson had a rough day, and DJ Chester (LG1) could compete at Center.
• BK was noncommittal at the WR spot, but he did define a 1A and 1B (two deep) at the position.
• Things remain even more cloudy at DT and SAF.
Updates:
• Transfer ratings have been updated to reflect the On3 Industry Ratings (not much changed).
• Incoming Freshmen jersey numbers have been updated.
• Ahmad Breaux is now wearing #16.
• I adjusted a only a few players' weights.
Methodology:
• This is not a prediction. I have tried to maintain objectivity to the best of my ability.
• I began with the bowl game depth chart from the end of last season.
• I updated with information from Spring Training.
• Walk-ons are placed at the bottom of their respective positions, even though sometimes they earn playing time before others on scholarship.
• Players will move up/down the Depth Chart based upon observations from YouTube videos, supported by the reports from those were present.

Great work Scotcho. I don’t see a lot of weaknesses on this team.
Could maybe rearrange Safety some, but we’ll have a clearer picture as practices continue.
I get it, but Chester/Echols are the backup centers

I heard one of the freshmen OL may be out for a few weeks with a foot injury. I’m speculating it’s Solomon Thomas since I didn’t see him during practice video.

Solomon Thomas is out all camp with broken bone in foot.

It is, they announced it. Hate that he is missing that development time. O-line is looking a little thin.

Don't think Quad Wilson is on the team anymore

Correct, no Ebun or Kency either at RB
Posted on 7/30/25 at 2:23 pm to JimTiger72
Yes, Kency is at Nicholls

How many WRs get playing time this year?
We’re 6 guys deep & I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hill and Watkins in there too.
Really only had 5 getting significant playing time last year.

I think Keyes will end up with the bulk of the snaps over West Weeks

Based on what ? Y’all do realize stamps is the 2nd highest rated CB in the sec ? Who has 3 years of sec experience lol?

The older guys will get most of the snaps unless there’s injuries. Hilton, Aaron and Nic Anderson, Brown, Parker and Thomas should get the majority of the snaps with Sharp and Treydez flexing out at times. Don’t be surprised if Taron Francis works his way into the rotation. He’s going to be really good.
