How does corporate handle your store being updated with modern amenities and technology?

I think the food is absolutely disgusting but I have a problem saying no to their hashbrowns, so from time to time I stop in for breakfast.

Some locations are immaculate and other locations look like it was looted the day before.

Does corporate ever come in and do checks to see that the restaurant is meeting their standards?

The one here just tore the old one down and built a brand new one to accommodate updates.

McDonald’s is one of those places if you go there 7 days in a row the food might actually come out one or two times. That being said sometimes you don’t have a choice when on the road.

Csb time. There’s a really shitty McDonald’s in thibodaux on 3185 on the edge of town. My buddy used to live in an apartment right there so we’d naturally get drunk and walk over to get us a burger. Was never super late maybe 9/10.

Without fail everytime they would ignore us for the first ten minutes after we’d walk in. Everytime. So I started calling corporate weekly lodging complaints. One day I walk in the day to grab something from the adjacent gas station and they had some mcjiggles big wigs in there tearing up everyone’s all. I wasn’t even hungry but I went to go get in line. Best service is ever had there.

They have operation analysts come out and review the food to make sure they’re up to standard and doing things correctly. Problem is it’s one thing to do it when corporate is there and never when it’s just a standard customer. Can’t remember if it was them or field learning consultants that train on new tech and other related items.

If the McD has kiosk then the service is even worse. The kiosk app is horrible and it doesn’t attempt to find you the best special, it will charge you al a carte if you order it individually. McD upgrade the app to assist the customer get the best value if you want them to use it.
I agree only thing worth ordering is hash browns and fries!

If not for the sausage egg & cheese McMuffin, I doubt I’d ever go to McDonald’s again until we have grandchildren.

Each store is on a scheduled rotation to be upgraded at a certain time...same goes for all fast food restaurants.

Not true at all in my opinion .

Ive spent plenty of years in my career as a road warrior, traveling through a lot of far flung and rural parts of the country.. I almost always have protein bars and trail mix in the car.. in a pinch i actually think that grabbing a couple Slim Jims and a bag of Doritos from the corner store, while not ideal, is tastier and not any less healthy than anything McDonalds offers .. havent stopped at a McDonalds or similar in 20 yrs except to take a piss .

That location had gone to the dogs years ago. Hopefully the new one will do better but the sausage & biscuit may set you back $5.

Wendy’s and BK are making the death spiral. It’s only a matter of time.

McDonald’s is doing okay but in time, they are in trouble too. They know this, which is why McDonald’s corporate is a real estate firm lol

Chain restaurants will start emulating the Chili's method, 3 for me starting at $11.99 is unbeatable.
