Yellow Jacket Nest

I sprayed the foaming hornet/wasp killer in the hole three times now.
Numbers have certainly diminished, but they are still coming and going.
Do I just keep doing this, bottle after bottle, or at what point do I just get my pest control guy to take care of it?

What about something with a residual like Demon WP?

I usually put a whole can of foaming spray down the hole at night and then place a cover over the hall. Sometimes a brick or larger block.
This has always worked for me.

Can you get a hose to the hole?
If so, you can dump some dawn dishwashing liquid in the hole and then fill it with water.
You may want to start off with spray foam to knock them back first. And only do this at night.

This. The fumes kill them. No need to light it.

This is the way to deal with ground nests.

I’ve done it this way a bunch of times and as a bonus when done this way, a coon or something has found it that same night, dug up the nest and eaten everything.

This is what I do as well. Fill a small coke bottle up with gasoline. Slip up to the hole at night and stick the neck of the bottle in the hole. You will never see another yellow jacket emerge.

I'm sure somebody will be along soon to post the video of the guy blowing up half of his backyard and scaring the shite out of his dogs, (and himself).
That's where the fun is!!!

I killed a Yellow Jacket nest with Dawn Dish Soap and a bucket of water. I put a screen over the nest and poured the concoction on the nest.

At dark place a decent sized glass bowl over the hole. As long as they see the sun they will die trying to crawl through the glass. If you cover with a dark object and they cannot see the sun as expected, they will dig another way out. Just needs to be a big enough bowl to cover any other potential exits around the primary exit.
I used the foam and Apicid powder on one nest. It took a week of doing that before they carried the poison to all the tunnels and chambers.

At dark I think I'm going to spray the last of my poison into it, then cover it with a large glass bowl and see what that does.
