I say it all the time. Our ultimate fight isn't Left vs. Right or even Democrat vs. Republican.
It's Good vs. Evil.
It's Good vs. Evil.

These stories never end up how they're portrayed on social media.

A permit to worship in a church?

Why would a church need a permit for a singer? This by itself is progressive retardation.

That's clearly not what was going on
If you host an event at a church, you need a permit. You can't spin it as "worship" to break the law.
Social media lied to you. You posted it without doing research. Just own it.

In other news, not one mosque in Montreal was raided by police for having a worship service or broadcasting its content on loud speakers throughout the city.

You have to have permits for events universally.

Was it on church property? For a "libertarian" you sure seem comfortable weaponizing bureacracy for political ends.

Can you please explain why a church would need to obtain a permit to have a guest singer? I haven't been to church in a while but last time I was there, we had many singers and not one permit.

What a vague and vacant statement with zero actual meaning.
Are you saying churches everywhere need permits to have a singer?

Your link is better? Good Lord, man!

I'm not giving my personal policy preferences.
Why is this simple concept so difficult for y'all?

When I went to church, we had guest singers (including Bob Carlyle) with zero permits required.

Do they call you Esquire when you practice in Canada or do they have a wacky Canadian term?

If the event meets the zoning requirements, yes, which this event clearly did.
Posted on 7/26/25 at 11:40 am to SlowFlowPro
So no freedom of religion in Canada? The power to tax or permit is the power to destroy.

That blows your "universal" statement out of the water
Youre talking a lot and not saying one single thing.
