I am playing it with a buddy currently...about 4-5 missions complete. They toned down the gore and stuff from original release since they just released on console but the missions have a dark side like Shane says.

Havent played it yet but the single player commander mode looks like a spiritual successor to the old Rainbow 6 and SWAT series. ..where you can plan out and control the AI team movement in detail which is great. I havent played a real tactical single player shooter in a long time.

It’s what siege should have been in terms of a single player mode.
I think early siege nailed the competitive aspect but has sense just become overly ridiculous

Yes. It's single player with 4 bot teammates in 2 squads or 2. Or coop with up to 5 people pve.
They apparently had a 5v5 mode in early access but it wasn’t popular. They might bring it back in the future.

I am wondering if I will end up buying this. Been waiting my whole life for a realistic shooter .
