I just got some acreage and people are quoting me at $500+ to mow. An outdoor construction guy I know said to get a commercial grade mower because I can sell for 50% in 5 years.

Would appreciate any guidance on the best option if anybody knows about this kind of thing.

That info would’ve been useful in the OP. Go astroturf instead.

A good one with a good maintenance schedule and you will still be riding it in 15 years.

I used to mowed about 14 acres weekly with a 72 inch Zero turn Kubota lawn mower. Take care of your equipment and you should be good for years. I never had any issues with it.

Construction guy is right. I mow just over 7 acres with a 62”. Takes about 4 hrs.

I've had my Hustler commercial grade for over 10 yrs now. I have it serviced annually and have no mechanical issues. I use it to maintain approximately 7 acres of property.
