I know some on here recently bought powerblock dumbbell sets and I wanted to let you all know they have great customer service.

Recently my U series stage two set broke on the 70 plate. After inspection, the other 60’s and 70’s were cracked. Contacted customer service and they are sending me all new plates 20-70. These were purchased in 2017. Keep your proof of purchase!!

I was so happy with them I decided to buy the stage 3 set.

The Urethanes are a pile of junk. I’ve purchased 5 sets of powerblocks. 1st pair were in ~2007. Great dumbbells but the urethanes completely dryrotted. Terribly engineered

I might need to rethink about leaving them in the hot humid shop all the time

The 20 - 50 plates are still good. I’ll put the new ones up until I need them. So hopefully I’ll be good for awhile

Just had the same thing happen, broke a 40 and a 50. The set was purchased in 2008 and I didn't have the receipt but had the original warranty card that I never mailed in. The sent replacements out for free.

That’s what happened to mine. I owned a gym but when I sold it, I kept them for myself & stored them in the garage. Didn’t take too long. PB sent me a couple replacements when a couple plates broke. Then a few years later they all just crumbled like a cracker. I just threw it all away. I sold the other 3 pair long ago but actually just bought the expandable 50s last week

I have had mine over a decade and yea I have had to replace 2 or 3 plate sets in the last 2 years but overall have held up great and as mentioned, the customer service is second to none. They have been stored in the garage on the stand the whole time.

Agreed, Customer service is great. But I’ll never buy the U again. The replacement plates cracked again after a few years too. Idk, maybe my garage is hotter than yours lol. I’ll stick with the metal

(BTW, I read all 33 pages of the TRT thread at 2am this morning. Had blood work done yesterday. Back next Friday for results. Will be picking your brain soon if you don’t mind)
