You guys remember Ozzy’s song “Miracle Man”, where he makes fun of Jimmy Swaggart? I think it’s interesting that Ozzy and Jimmy died only weeks apart. Here’s the video for this awesome song.

Zakk was on fire for that solo. That blazing pentatonic pattern lick after the opening arpeggios is so ridiculously fast and always gives me trouble.

I love the sound of that whole album. Crazy Babies is another great one.

History is like that. Jefferson and Adams, for example.

And to stay on point, Ozzy had a decent spread of film and television appearances, but virtually all of them was as himself, either himself as "a real world" character, archival footage, reality shows, music videos, etc.
However, there were 2 notable exceptions to this - he was the voice of The Devil in Glenn Martin, DDS (Nick at Nite) and, in his feature film debut, Rev. Gilstrom in Charles Martin Smith's (yes, Toad) Trick or Treat, a clear parody of Jimmy Swaggart that pre-dates Miracle Man by over a year.

Saw that video this morning on MTV. Thought it looked a lot like Biden but knew it couldn't be.
MTV was playing nothing but Ozzy videos for at least two hours this morning.

I love this song, I've posted it in a couple of the Swaggart threads recently. The first song Ozzy and Zakk wrote together and Zakk absolutely smokes it. When I saw him 1989 they were touring No Rest For The Wicked.

Walk on Water which was in the Beavis and Butthead movie also mentions a “Miracle Man”.
