Loved Asti. Amazing Italian restaurant with a cool atmosphere and the waitress was a smoke show straight from Italy.

Very good, for sure. Recommend going to one of Young Blood or Noble Experiment afterwards.

I think it's close to Gaslamp district, but Landini's Pizzeria is great. I always stop in there when i'm in San Diego.

Lionfish was on my list to try but I didn't have the time.

Waves taco club is amazing for casual tacos. Everything homemade in house. Fresh seafood for the tacos. Each taco is between $5-$8 bucks. Three were plenty for me

I third Water Grill. One of my best dining experiences in the US especially if you love fresh seafood.

Wore an LSU shirt in there one day and the owner came over and started talking to us. Turns out he had a roommate who was from Plaquimine. He sat with us and kept bringing us free food to try and told us about where he got it, how it was prepared and how to eat it to get the full flavor. Was a great experience. Food was good and I’d highly recommend.
