Anyone know of anyone generally around the Port Allen/Baton Rouge area that can rework and shape a brass prop? No knicks or cuts, just a few good bends from one too many floaters in the intercoastal ??

Holy cow. They have been in business for years and years. Probably opened in the 70s or 80s. When I was a kid in the early 90s, I worked at the marina at Pickwick and that's who did all of our prop work.

I'd call around some local mechanics. Bound to be somebody local that will take care of it.

They are easier to work on than stainless props.

Bo is the best around here. Other option is to call Bennett's ski school in Zachary and ask who their mechanic Steve uses.

Deep south props in lockport will work on any prop you can think of and do great work.
