Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to miss the opening game this year due to traveling plans. The ONLY other time in my life that I didn't get to see LSU's opening football game was the Georgia Southern game in 2019, which was due to me getting an emergency call from my boss. Coincidence? Yeah I don't think so

You can thank me later

Georgia Southern game in 2019,

this game was awesome live.

You could tell that team had a different vibe when out there.

Was cool seeing the 2019 launch.

Nope. Not gonna be this year, as the championship game is not being held in New Orleans.

We have won all four of our national championships based on the final game being held in New Orleans.

we used to be damn strong at opening with tough opponents, I loved it, under the new system I guess it makes more sense to be like everyone else and make the ooc schedule padded with nothing but rent-a-wins

History suggests that to win a NC in the modern era, we need a QB that has beaten La Tech in Tiger Stadium. Nuss gets his chance Sept 6.

Well I’m not going to Clemson this year and have been 0-5 in last openers so we might just win.

MSU
UCLA
FSU
FSU
USC

In fact, the last home opener I’ve been to that we won was the Georgia Southern Game.

I tried going but the traffic was backed up due to a horse being rear ended by a Model A driven by some drunk rich frat guy on his way home from a sugar plantation ball in St. Francisville. All the other roads were closed due to muddy conditions from the .24" of rainfall earlier that day.
