In both the house and senate. Yes, simply because of the Epstein gaslighting. We’re sick and tired of the elite getting away with shite ALL THE frickING TIME!

We wont lose the Senate, that would take something far far worse and bigger
With Tillis dropping out its nearly mathematic impossible for that to happen.

We are probably going to get slaughtered in the house to the tune of a 15 seat minority

ETA :downvote all you want I am just telling you the truth, this epstein stuff will cause some people to just not vote in the mid terms and trump isnt on the ballet. The board already was better for the dems than us before all this mess and we only have a 3 seat majority now so im calling an at worse 18 house seat swing and I think a senate hold at 53

Not sure about that but if we do I guess the Dollar General Obama will be the Speaker of the House. That will be a shite show for sure!

The part that’s fresh is ‘badly.’ It’s going to be a slaughter.

Kemp deciding to not run in GA sucks for us. I dont like him that much as a conservative but he would crush the D senator up I think its the black guy. How the hell does GA have two D senators?

Would give us more room at 54

They were likely going to lose congress anyway. The's just how things go. I don't think any of this has an effect on it.

There was a 0% chance they ever got below 52 in the senate

Trump has wracked up some major wins and the supreme court just recently essentially let his whole agenda fly we couldve been set up to do very well, and maybe still will. Trump needs to put an end to this

Since World War II, the norm is an average midterm loss of 25 House seats for the president's party. So you're suggesting the GOP losses will be ~70% of that? Maybe so. But IMO, Dems are coming from a deeper hole than you realize.

Im suggesting that as my worst case scenario is we hold the Senate at 53 still with a 18 seat house minority.

My best case right now would be 54 gain in the senate and holding onto any majority in the house at all even if by 1.

Thats just how I see things. Itll depend a lot on the economy the next year

This could be true, and is, nationally. You have to remember the districts dont represent national feeling

I don’t think so. It’s not like the Democrats are offering a compelling alternative. They’re still in shambles as a party.

They have nothing to sell nationally.

They can carve out enough in the districts in an off year for the Rs.

It also depends on how much Trump truly took a hatchet to their money schemes

“This is a nightmare scenario for the Dems right now. We better pray long and hard that the country is going to be in a f---ing depression, because I don’t know how else we find ourselves out of this mess.”

As I said above it will also be big how much trump has truly managed to hit their funding

It's normal for the party in power to lose the midterms. The only thing Congress has done is pass the BBB and that took a lot of negotiating. Republicans are worthless.
