Do you think LSU will come out with some routine pitch and catch plays in the early goings of the game, to help settle in the OL vs a stout Clemson DL?

Or could you see a situation where Kelly tests the Clemson run D early?

we will try for three or four series too long.

Hopefully not like last year where we throw it down the field then try to run in the red and cant and kick a field goal.

Hell, I’d prefer the field goals as opposed to the fourth and goal failures we saw vs fsu.

I can’t imagine Kelly will refuse a fg attempt vs Clemson

Too early to tell. It will depend on how the OL performs in practice and scrimmage.

Clearly, LSU would want to run the ball well. The passing game will not be fully developed and would benefit if we can get Clemson to commit more players to the run.

We shouldn’t press one if we are rolling with the other; as a change of pace, sure.

I say throw a go route to our 6.7 TE.

Pretty close to 50-50. And if Nuss takes a couple of runs, it may be more run than pass. I know he risk injury running the football but he really can open up the offense if he just takes a couple of early runs, especially in the first quarter even if he gets no yards

Obviously, the more LSU runs the ball effectively, especially on second downs, the more the passing lanes become open on the RPO‘s

Nothing would please me more to see lsu run the ball vs Clemson and have some timely completion

We will see establishing the run will offset nuss expectations to run to start the year.

Really need a run run pass option for at least beginning of year
