Would be shocked if he didn't. Presumably will sign for money above his draft position.

We'll see. Until Jay makes the switch, I'm going to guess he'll keep the intact, national championship winning outfield in their same positions.

With as many bodies as he has, some will be disappointed when they are processed out after fall ball.

Plog is a LHP
Stanfield and Curiel alternated quite a bit in CF and LF in the fall
He's not cutting Benge, he likes Benge a lot and Fontenot showed some promise late in the year
my guess is a newcomer will eventually move on after fall when they see the pecking order

Hamilton will come down how much Tigers have in savings to pay him above the slot for that round.

I would think being in the 11th round they should be able to get to a number to satisfy him. We went through something similar with Gervase.

Hamilton also had some injury concern this past spring during his season so if he has a lingering arm issue that a MLB team is willing to take on that means he's not taking up a roster spot with LSU without knowing how the new roster limits will work out.

Disagree but you need a couple guys to elevate their game, particularly Schmidt. The hay is in the barn for the pitching staff.

He doesn't have a slot.

11-20 rounds aren't slotted. There is a $150K grace on bonus amounts not going against the pool money. So if he gets $1MM, only $850K would be bonus pool money.

Thanks, made that correction.

Seven lefties! Long gone are the Maineri days of having none.

Thanks for the clarification P.

It's a big reason why rounds 11 and 12 scare me more than rounds 9 and 10.

Concerns about pitching next year. Schmidt, Evans, Noot and Cowan have really got to step it up.

Curiel is entering his draft year. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty confident he will he in CF. Similar to how Milam moved to SS this year, and kicked Brass over to third, Curiel will move Stanfield to LF.

Either way I'm really happy Sranfield is back.

Have not seen anything clarification on redshirting guys. If it's allowed, it would solve the numbers issue.

Yeah Evans and Cowan really struggled this year.

Evans and Cowan have to grow, be better, more consistent and go longer than they did this year.

No question. If you get out of them what you got out of them next year we will be a .500 SEC team.
