Almost every hospital report I've read recently says the lines at the emergency room aren't that long lately.

One guy livestreamed in El Paso and there was nobody in the waiting area. Not sure how true it is but it was interesting.

One of those demographics does it more than anyone. By far... which is why the emergency rooms in their areas are closing. Nice try tho.

I had one of these experiences recently when taking my 18 mo to a children's hospital ER with some pretty scary respiratory issues

There was an immigrant family that took forever at the registration, requiring multiple people to come help, including a translator. There were several kids, the sick one being a perfectly fine looking 7-8 year old who clearly was not in any sort of distress. She was nice and pleasant and definitely not a "rat" - but at the same time, it was annoying.

Point being, you can take out all the demonization elements of it and it's still a very valid source of frustration for reasonable, sober-minded people on the topic. Not only are people who shouldn't be here competing for resources with Americans, but because of how they use our systems and resources, they're often in less need than those they take from.

As captain of the fatigue ferry I’d like to welcome all long time passengers newcomers on board. There’s a bar in the main cabin, Wednesdays are trivia night and on Friday nights we do live band karaoke on the top deck.
