I know it wouldn't be a popular move given her popularity and all. But something is definitely not right with Queen Cait.

She has already missed a good portion of the season because of various injuries and in the last 5 games that she has played in, she's been awful.

She turned in another bad performance today, shooting just 4-12. She finished with 10 points and 6 assists, with 4 turnovers and her team lost for a second time to an expansion team.

The team now has a losing record and is going nowhere fast.

In the last 5 games, Queen Cait is averaging 11 points, shooting 32% from the field (23-71) while averaging 8 assists and 6 turnovers per game.

She's shooting a miserable 20.5% (7-34) from 3-point range, supposedly her specialty.

She is obviously not healthy. Should Indiana go against the league and shut her down or do they continue to play her and risk further and perhaps more permanent injury?

Bird and Magic said CC doesn't need the WNBA (they need HER) and that she should bolt, go off and create her own team/league....any Saudi Princes out there with leftover LIV money to spare?

No just your shitty troll attempts. I’d rather see dong threads.

CC is about to have her get right game on Sunday vs Bueckers & the 6 win Dallas Wings.

No, they obviously just have to let her play through the struggles. But it's been a disappointing season for the Fever. They put together a very strong roster for this season, and it has been surprisingly better when Clark is out.

Be careful about posting the truth on this board. You'll be accused of trolling.

Yes, it is a stacked roster. Yes, they play more like a team when Queen Cait isn't on the court. I wonder at what point the team begins to revolt against her being the focal point of the team. It's just too good to have a losing record.

They have 25 games left! Goodness man, give it up. You don’t have to start a Caitlin Clark thread after EVERY single game! NO they shouldn’t shut her down. They haven’t even played half the season!

Because you are trolling. You keep claiming that she is popular because she is white and 'presumably' straight. I have brought up other white and legit straight players who are better looking and you don't respond to that. You won't even respond to posters who want to debate you.

So I'd you aren't trolling than you are just fricking dumb. The league was absolutely NOTHING before her and honestly shouldn't exist.

How many times do I have to bring up her stats? Other posters have said it - those who actually watch the games and don't simply listen to the propaganda - that the team is better when she's not on the court.

That's not me saying it, that's other posters who actually watch the games.

You, and apparently the admins as well, CLAIM it's trolling because it isn't what you'd like to believe. Well, boo-fricking-hoo.

It's quite obvious to me, and to other posters who actually watch the games, that Queen Cait is an average WNBA player. So you tell me why she is touted as the Second Coming?

Thought I would go and actually look at stats to compare, here are the stats:
The Fever are 5-5 when she plays and 4-5 when she doesn't play.
The Fever split for PPG scored vs against are as follows:
When she plays: 85.5 PPG and allow 81.7 PPG for a +/- of +3.8.
When she doesn't play: 79.9 PPG and allow 76.3 PPG for a +/- of +3.6.
The opposing teams records are as follows:
When she plays: 108-91.
When she doesn't play: 66-107.

So just to recap, she has played 1 more game (10) than she has not played (9). In that time, her team wins more when she plays, scores more points and plays a much tougher schedule yet has a better record. How exactly is her team playing better when she doesn't play? What metric are you using? They played 1 team above .500 without her (Atlanta Dream currently 12-7) and do you know how that game went? They lost 77-58. They have played 5 times without her against the bottom 4 teams (Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas and Connecticut), in those 5 games, they are 3-2! Conversely, they have played those same teams only 2 times with her, do you know what the record is? 2-0! What does that mean, that they have won some games without her but all but 1 of those came against the worst teams in the league. The only win they have against a team with a decent record without Caitlin Clark came against Las Vegas. I just don't really understand how you can think they are better without her and that if you watch the games it shows that. Can you please point out what they do better without her than with her?

One more thing, Caitlin Clark just played her 50th game, here is where she ranks ALL-TIME during that same span:
She is first all-time in assist through 50 games (423 to 379)
She is first all-time in 3 pointers made through 50 games (147 to 128)
She is 7th all-time in total points through 50 games (one behind Tamike Catchings and 7 behind A'ja Wilson).

So if you are wondering why people say she has the ability to be an all-time player, here are just a few reasons why.

As of late, having played several games now without her, the Fever - a loaded team - plays more like a team without her on the court.

With her on the court, she is the focal point and in the last six games she has stunk up the place.

Two things:

1. She played on a bad team last year, so she was given free range on the court. She was given every opportunity to pile up the stats.
2. If she were black, nobody (especially on this board) would care what her stats were.

ETA: I've said over and over again that she has the potential to be a superstar. My contention has always been that the hype and the popularity is based on race and sexual orientation. If she were black, she wouldn't have anywhere near the popularity she has now. I don't think that can be denied.
