Lack of Great College Football HC Candidates (HYPOTHETICAL)

Not sure where to put this, so please don't kill me (if it belongs in the O-T)
Anyone notice that the candidate pool for College football HC looks mighty grim? Hypothetically, if LSU had to fire BK (also assuming other top schools would be in the mix) there are no slam dunk candidates. Everyone is either locked into a ridiculous contract or an up-and-comer.
Only solid candidate IMO: Jon Sumral (likely waiting on Kentucky to open).
In this scenario, who would LSU even hire?
*I do not wish BK gone, looking forward to a title run this year. This only concerns a hypothetical & is aimed at the weird landscape of college football at large.

Kevin Mwae, Andrew Witworth, or hopefully one day soon, Tyrann Mathieu! Those would without a doubt, noone can deny, would be the slam dunk hires for LSU! Those Louisianamals would run through walls to get the job done!

This has to be a troll.

I cant see LSU hiring any individual that has absolutely no coaching experience in college football.

I think Blake Baker will be our HC when Kelly hangs it up

yeah idk if he’s holding out against all offers for that job.
But a decent amount of the top young coaches are at good situations.
Lanning at Oregon, Freeman at ND
But Kenny Dillingham just had ASU make a huge jump in year 2. He would be a name to watch at 35
Garrett Riley will get a shot at some point
Glenn Shumann
Maybe Brian Hartline eventually too

Take some time off, look for responses by El Guacho every day for at least 6 months, and learn.
Then come back and attempt to troll. This kind of weak crap is just not good,

Love him, but what would give you the impression that he is HC material???

I like both Freeman and Lanning, however both have huge contracts and neither seem to want a different job. (see Alabama HC opening)

if Kyle Williams starts eating grass he's your future head coach

There were no slam dunk candidates when we hired BK.

there are no slam dunk candidates ever if you don’t have the right support apparatus around them.

People said this for years about baseball before we hired Jay. There’s someone, somewhere in CFB who’s highly competent and can turn LSU into a multiple national championship winner, it’s the job of the athletic director and his team to identify them and hire them whether they’re a household name or not.
There aren’t any heir apparents out there right now but that doesn’t mean there aren’t extremely high level coaches out there who would kill it at LSU if BK retired today

Best response!
Here's a question, do we think Woodward can do such with football?
His resume suggests that he only hires those who are a "proven commodity." Only "highly competent" lesser known hires were Steve Sark (Washington), and maybe Chris Peterson (hired at Washington, from Boise [92-12 record]). Some attribute Jay Johnson as well.
