Is it smart to just buy tickets at the door rather than get them now. Never been to the bash before, but I want to go this year. They don't run out of tickets do they??

they wont run out but its $5 more at the door.

I've been twice. There's food in the back, usually 2 beer trucks, a bunch of chairs setup in front of a stage with a projection screen on it (where they show recruits, etc), and there is also a bunch of LSU memorabilia you can bid on.

It's like tailgating indoors...all day. Free food and beer, plus all the cool LSU shite in the silent auction. This will be my 6th year and its worth the $45 every time.

I went years ago and it was lots of drinking then and waiting to hear the announcements from all the players.

Still can't find out what time this starts-planning on ordering from Ticketmaster, and picking up from will-call.
Start time? I know Dad said they serve breakfast, but the beer doesn't get there until a bit later. They must not understand how good beer can be for breakfast.

It's basically a whole day of:
1) Old dudes in jerseys worshiping teenagers
2) Bad Food
3) Boring speakers
4) Boring replays
Can't wait till Wednesday. Hope to see you there.

I think of the bash as an indoor, off-season tailgate, with the possible exception of the silent auction.
