The Dallas Wings rookie (UConn) guard received 805,471 votes, surpassing the record set last year by Caitlin Clark (700,735 votes).

Bueckers got the second-most votes for guards this year. Clark garnered the most votes, breaking the WNBA all-time record with 1,293,526.

ETA: In addition, Bueckers led all guards in Weighted Score, which is how the starters are selected - taking fan vote, media vote, and players vote into consideration - with Clark and Sabrina Ionescu tying for second place.

The top four are all-star starters.

League is more popular than ever. Unfortunately, a lot of the voters vote for a name they know, instead of who has earned an all-star spot. But that is nothing new in fan voting in any sport.

Weird that the media and the actual players would only vote for names they know lol

I guess coaches do the same

I thought people only posted about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. I didnt know some people actually cared about the games or the league in general. It's usually just trolling but this guy seems to care about the whole league.

He’s 100% a troll. Best to ignore and move on.

I'm intrigued by those desperately trying to let everyone know they aren't in the least bit interested.

Who are they trying to convince?

Real question. Why does it upset you so much? I’m not a Nascar fan, so I stay out of those threads. It doesn’t bother me that other people enjoy watching it. Are you afraid of women or something?

No. Angel’s all-star spot came via the coaches, not the popular vote.

Technically watching women run around and get sweaty is a lot more straight than watching dudes do the same.
