Heading to St. Martin in 3 weeks looking for any recommendations on things to do or places to eat. Also do we need to rent a car? Thanks in advance.

Maho Beach and the airport is still one of the coolest experiences I have had.

We have always rented a car. I suggest a reputable company to avoid scams.

Maho Beach is fun experience. Scoobi Too was fun catamaran trip to Anguilla.

Pinel Island is nice. You may want to make a reservation for lunch to make sure you can get lounge chairs and a lobster.

Orient Beach has some good restaurants and a big beach.

Great island.

Sint Maarten yacht club happy hour is good times. I can’t remember when they open the bridge, but it’s fun to hang out and watch the yachts go in and out.

Rent a car it is super easy. We stayed on the French Side and ate lunch at each beach bar daily, the food is incredible everywhere.

Ocean's 82 in grand case, L'Ateliier in Orient Village, Restaurant L'Auberge Gourmande and MAO were some of the best restaurants I have eaten at in the world.

Pinel island is a great time but the seaweed has been so bad lately they aren't running the ferry across.

Cupecoy and Danny's beach bar for chicken and ribs was a great time.

Pirates hideout and the owners is the spot that treated us with the best service. The owners were fantastic and we became friends with them, allowing us to taste their private rum stash and other things. We have an LSU jersey hanging on the wall there now.

Best vacation I will ever take and by far the most relaxing.

You've got to check out Philipsburg and check out the smallest bar in the world run by the nicest fella. It's called Juggie's Bar. Philipsburg already is a great town with a wide array of restaurants and experiences. Hell, there's even a prop master who lives there who worked on all the star wars movies. He runs a museum there for all his pieces and that's a lot of fun to check out if that's your thing. After or before, grab a beer from Juggie and shoot the shite with him. Hell, they have a 3 dollar two drink and a cigar special for happy hour. At least they did in the past. The main attraction is Juggie, he's always there hanging out and talking to that fella is a real treat.

Grand Case has a lot of great options, Le Pressoir and Villa Royale were excellent. As well as the LoLos.

L'atelier in Orient Bay was great as well, pretty much all of the restaurants in Orient Village were good.

There's a cool bar/wine shop/ restaurant Bacchus over near the Super U supermarket between Grand Case and Orient Bay.

We primarily stayed on the French side, so can't speak too much on the Dutch side.
