Still in disbelief, what a season Baws

Followed these guys religiously all season. The biggest knock all year was the bullpen and wondering how far we could get with Kade and Eyanson. The bats weren't Huge and there were definitely some low moments like getting run ruled by NWS at home in the box. Milam and Jones and Braswell all had big droughts. Even Curiel had a little cold spell. It was hard to imagine these guys would win it all. We all wondered who would step up in the bullpen and if it would ever happen in time. Even the SEC tournament after getting blanked by Ole Miss it was hard to be optimistic. These guys showed cracks but they never broke. We seemed to always come through when it mattered most. Finally Evans and Shores emerged and the last piece of the puzzle fell into place. We dominated tournament play and answered Everytime we faced adversity. You could just sense that LSU magic of the postseason was back. It was almost fitting to beat coastal 1-0 to snap their 26 game winning streak. That was the beginning of the end. It was Fun ride. So Proud of these guys.

Why do old people always have question marks in their posts? Are they trying to use phone emojis?

I knew LSU was winning the title for sure when I went to a midweek game in April. Yeah, it takes a bit of luck but just seeing how the dudes were carrying themselves I could tell they that "it" thing.
I should have laid some money down, but I'll settle for anothe natty.

Yeaaaaa this was one unbelievable season.
First time going to Omaha too. We will never not make the final series again if LSU is in it. We know how to do it very cheap and easy now. Well if you don't mind driving like me. Drive was a breeze.

Stayed at the Super 8 in Council Bluffs for $120 a night. 8 minute drive to Stadium. Soft beds, cold AC, hot showers, great ice machines, and free shitty breakfast. PERFECT. And the rest of the people staying there will make you feel better about life.
Parking is free on Sundays at the PLENTY of metered spots on the downtown streets. We paid $30 on Saturday to park 2 blocks from stadium. Didn't need Monday
Get Tickets online in the 201-203/301-303 or 221-223/321-323 sections on the day of game for ~$180 each for Game 1. They were <$100 on Sunday for Game 2.
Drive a vehicle that get's 30+ mpg.

Sounds like a plan!!
Now we didn't spend alot in the bars b/c we brought my teenage daughter. But Mattress Factory Bar and Grill right down from Rocco's wasn't expensive and was perfect for all ages/drinks/food both days.
The free self-serve icewater was a nice touch too.
We did go to the Zoo Saturday. It was a little hot for some of the animals to be active but all the indoor/ac exhibits and aquarium were bad arse. <$100 for 3 of us. Do that for sure while there.

Whenever I use my tower, if I don't press 'preview' any emoji will come out as a ? on the post. I know, because it used to happen to me until I figured it out. By the way, I am one of those 'old people' too!

Share the knowledge baw. How “cheap” were them game tix + hotel rates?

I took a 5 day trip to Omaha in 23 with 2 of my college friends. We drove. The total bill for 5 days was 1,000.00. hotel was Holiday Inn across from stadium. We went to all 3 games, visited the zoo one day and ate out a few times. We also had some leftovers and snacks and booze in the room. I thought 1000 bucks wasn't bad for all that.
