Bush
"Iraq has Weapons of Mass Destruction!" (that was as specific as they ever got)

Response: sent in ground troops (who stayed there for 20 years)

Trump
Iran has 60% enriched uranium which has no non-weapons use and can be enriched to 90% in days;

They have a bomb design;

They have short, intermediate and long-range missiles (and Rubio points out their space program has always been a front for an ICBM).

Response: Targeted B2 strike on nuclear sites and attempts to reopen negotiations

I don't have a crystal ball but until/unless Trump commits to "boots on the ground" it is ridiculous to compare the two events

Actually hes a lot worse. because back then we didn’t have the information now we do but still you deny reality when they use the exact same MIEC lies they’ve used in the past

America First!

Israel Firster!

Keep telling yourself this is different. Keep rationalizing your Emperor as someone who is competent and rational. He's not. He's a petulant child. And you know this. Rubio knows this. Vance knows this. They're all whores who are enabling to further their political careers. What's your excuse? Sucker.

Exaggerating WMD threats, leveraging Israeli advocacy, and sidelining diplomacy—mirror each other in both conflicts. That's were we are now. The long-term consequences remain unpredictable, but history suggests caution against overconfident claims of “mission accomplished.”

Neocon Don is worse. As I’ve mentioned before, at least the old school neocons exerted some effort to make OIF believable, even if the primary pretext was pure bullshite.

Trump ran on a “no more wars” promise and still found his way back to neocon land. His comment about him and Bibi being great teammates, or whatever, was ridiculous.

I’ll leave with this, any leader suddenly earning the praise of Bill Kristol, John Bolton, Mike Pence among others is full on swamp. We were duped

What will your excuse be when boots are on the ground?

I'd go ahead and start working on it.

Once daddy Israel decides they want us to invade, we will invade.

The world is better off if Iran doesn't have nukes and I'm not opposed to trying and stopping that.

What bothers me is, do we really know if Iran was going to get them? Because I hate being lied to and used.

Shock and awe that lasted a generation, cost trillions of dollars and thousands of lives, and didn’t make the region any more safe.

The GWB brand of foreign diplomacy and intervention was garbage.

I will not put Trump into the same category at all until he gives me good reason. Bombing three nuclear sites does not hit that threshold for me.

I don't believe we will ever see boots on the ground. Tehran is surrounded by mountains and they have millions of soldiers. I don't know how you get enough soldiers in to Tehran to face their numbers. Our guys would be trapped. I guess they could be led by massive air support.

I don't believe there will be boots on the ground.either.

I think we may be looking at a new Libya best case scenario.

What war has ever been won with air power alone?

This situation in Iran is not comparable to Iraq nor Afghanistan. Not at all and Trump is definitely not Bush.

You people are too fricking stupid to understand what is going on. The middle east is on the verge of a massive reset with Peace and Prosperity, but Iran having a nuclear bomb and the ability to mass produce ballistic missiles will hold back the middle east from finally turning the chapter to the new age of the Middle East

I'm a troll because I don't support a fascist? Because I disagree with yall? Because I truly think AOC would be a fantastic President?

Dismiss away! Someone disagrees, they have a "derangement syndrome"! Look at your Emperor's poll numbers. There are more of us than you bootlickers.
