My mom has a bucket list & that was to experience an LSU World Series.
Not even a championship. Just a CWSeries.
We did that. And WE WON.
Tears of joy.
LSU is a special university.
There’s nothing quite like it!

I also made it a point to spend this years run with my mom a lot more. Have to cherish these memories while we can

As soon as LSU turned the 4-6-3 double play to end the game I said to my dad, "Dad, LSU baseball won the College World Series again."
My dad passed away in August, 2001...

Listen, there is no doubt that LSU and its fanbase for the most part is just special. Omaha is not Omaha unless LSU is there. It's just that simple.

I’ve been an LSU fan for 50 years. The fans may get a bad rap from other fanbases and sometimes for good reason but LSU fans and Louisiana culture are the special ingredient in LSU’s athletic success. They are passionate and loyal and just like to have a good time. It’s a unique place.
