Does anyone have one of these? I saw it recently dropped.
Also, it’s pretty pricey for a simple design. Does anyone have recommendations for something that’s similar to it and cheaper?
Edit: my bad for not posting the picture. please see BnB’s picture for reference to what I’m talking about

Thanks

I use an 8” folding hand saw that I got off Amazon for cheap. LINK
The only difference between the two is the sabr has those metal rings on the back that allow you to wedge a stick in there and effectively make it a pole saw.

Looks like they run around $70.00 I got a nice folding saw at Lower or Home Depot for around $30.00. Looks the same and works great.

I have a saw very similar to that as well. I think with some redneck ingenuity you can accomplish what the sabr does

I use a Stihl folding saw in my bow pack at about half that price, but I kinda have to tip my hat to them for thinking of those pole rings. You can spend way more on a hand saw if you want, trendy ones can run up several hundred.

I’m curious how that limb lock actually works. I can’t imagine it works that great if you bump one I’d assume it comes loose? My buddy that’s an arborist has one of the Japanese brands that’s like $500 and loves it but he uses it for a living and has every tool known to man

I've used this one for 8 years bow hunting, blows everything else I've ever used out of the water. Very compact and still razor sharp on original blade. Very quiet and easy to use in early bow season. I don't know what you could improve...

The limb lock is what caught my attention. I might get creative and make something to use like what tethrd did.
