This thing came out from under my lil lady’s tube. Any ideas?

Thanks. Is it poisonous?

Can that type dive and bite under water? I always heard they can't bite under water.
I think I like that snake. He seems really chill.
He's not the sort that I'd like to kill.

Water Moccasin. Swimming on the surface as they often do.

Was the head up out of the water? It looks a lil diamond shaped to me..
Long skinny body or short/stumpy looking? Did you jump in and look at his eyes?

Eastern Cottonmouth. aka "Florida Cottonmouth"
Different from the Western Cottonmouth we have in Louisiana.
Eastern's grow MUCH larger than our Western and retain their distinct colors & patterns. The Western Cottonmouth turns almost black as it reaches adulthood. As other posters mentioned Cottonmouths entire body seems to float on the water. Water snakes bodies are submerged with only their head above the water. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Snakes can't be poisonous. They are VENOMOUS!

Water snake with some thicker than normal banding. Non venomous.
It could be a copperhead (venomous), but doubtful
0% chance it's a cottonmouth/moccasin
