Vs

What happened in left field last night.

Almost the same circumstances in Omaha. Hard hit ball with major topspin, difficult to read. Pearson makes the play, they don’t.

LOL...not sure what your point is.... Are you trying to say LSU has never misplayed a hit to the outfield. ? . .. it happens, inopportune time for Ark, but it is not like any team is immune to misplaying a ball .. in this case good for us, bad for them

No, need a bat on hand to smash their brains onto the ground.
And a can of gas to burn their house down.

that ball hit to LF last night was tougher to handle than the one in your video, I'm glad it happened but it wasn't was routine as it appeared to a lot of folks, including the guys calling the game

That play is why outfielders are thought to make the first move back...to prevent extra base hits.

Arkansas' outfielder did the same first move, however the ball had top spin and was diving....he thought he stil lhad a chance to make the play, but because of the top spin it dropped more then he was anticipating.

this is what i love about baseball, on play can totally effect the game and the season once you get to the CWS.

had we lost, we would have been looking at the dropped ball at first in the 8th....

Does the Arkansas left fielder catch it if he doesn't slip?

I think the original poster is saying baseball can be great or baseball can be cruel... in other words, that's baseball.
