You don’t waste him in a tied game to start the 9th. In the off chance he give up 1 run and you don’t score he’s not pitching tomorrow.

That’s where he lost it.
Shores is only reliable for an inning. Noot wasn’t pitching bad. Leave him in and he probably gets you through the 7th. Then you have shores for the 8th and probably the lead in the 9th

We put Eyanson in, this game is over. We win. No need to save him for tomorrow if we just win this game. Awful decision not to put eyanson in. May have cost us big.
