As hot as Arky is, I’d have to guess LSU. Arkansas was no match for LSU on Saturday and started to collapse this evening. Combined with Root being unavailable, it’s gotta be LSU.

Moneyline:
LSU: -120 (meaning a $120 bet would win $100)
Arkansas: -105 (meaning a $105 bet would win $100)
Run Line:
LSU: +1.5 (-196)
Arkansas: -1.5 (+148)

Gaeckle will likely pitch for Arky, and that's not promising for the Tigers. Gaeckle put the team bats to sleep after Zack Root faltered

He threw 90 pitches on Saturday. That would certainly be a DVH thing to do to throw him on 3 days rest after that. I wouldn't expect him to have a full tank.

I don't see him pitching tomorrow night, but I could see him pitching Thursday night.

At hat point it’s about being more hittable. Pitching isn’t as sharp.

LSU being ML favorite and run line dog doesn't make sense.

Happens all the time in the MLB when the game is basically a pickem

Like today Toronto was the "favorite" at -118 but run line was TOR +1.5

I hope your wrong and he is wore out after that outing. But you are correct, he did shut our offense/bats down while he was in.

ehhh, they beat Murry St and UCLA.

LSU is pretty hot too, winning 5 in a row now and 7 out of 8.

It is all about pitching. I do think that Arkansas may have their Sunday pitcher available, but not sure.

If that is the line, it is the same exact as it was Saturday.

That would be stupid on 3 days rest after throwing 100 pitches. These guys are used to a full week rest. Can they do it, sure. Will they be effective? Probably not.

Now, he may come back and pitch Thursday if Arkansas wins today, but we would likely counter with Eyanson (who is in the same boat as Root was after 1 game).

We need to win today, and not burn Eyanson....to set up our pitching against Coastal. If we end up burning Eyanson and make it to the finals, I don't like our chances without him in a 3 game series.
