Yeah, I’d love to match up against their pitchers again tomorrow though.

They definitely seem built as quantity over quality. Nobody with truly elite stuff but just a lot of guys that are just good that you can rotate through often.

Run into trouble when facing a good lineup which I guess there arent too many of in the B1G

If they weren't, they wouldn't use 6 pitchers a game. The announcers tried to hype up the bullpen, but all that told me is they lack aces.

I wouldn’t say average. They have a great collection of good arms. Just not a lot of arms that really scare you

They must've played absolutely nobody this year. Their bullpen is hot garbage it looks like it's made up entirely of midweek guys.

Prime example of an inflated number on a bullpen that artificially looks good. They'd get pounded on an SEC schedule. Every out LSU had felt like a loud out and they're fortunate LSU didn't run 20 on them.

They have a 4.4 team ERA in the Big10.

6 SEC teams were better, and 10 are below 4.65.

They have a great collection of good arms. We have a good collection of great arms. I imagine they'd have an advantage over us in a bottom of the barrel bullpen kind of game (which one of the next two definitely could turn out to be for us), but in basically every other instance I think we have a pretty solid advantage.

Yeah don’t you remember Johnson poaching their two best pictures couple years ago; why would I top three real talent pitcher want to pitch in front of 47 people on Friday nights in Westwood when they could pitch in front of 9000 in Baton Rouge

They're really not and they haven't shown it in Omaha in any game. Their stuff is fooling nobody.

UCLA is a team that relies almost entirely on luck to win bigger games. They do not have the talent, they do not have anyone who will overwhelm you in their pen, their bats rely on infield blooper hits. They're all about small ball speed put pressure on a defense with weak ABs and average pitching that any good team like LSU/Arkansas is going to blast.

Yep. I wish by some miracle they would win this game. I give them a puncher's chance (but it's like a Glass Joe from Mike Tyson's punchout chance)

Your case would have been even stronger if you had left out the cities.

We have a lot of young guys that are head & shoulders better. If our staff pitched in the big 10 our team ERA would likely be below 2
