We play real baseball. Their owner Jessie or whatever is basically a carnival manager. It’s completely different. It’s a show, not a sport.
ETA: his product is what it is so it doesn’t bother me. But something made me irrationally angry (in a minor way) when he said something like “walks are boring so we just got rid of them”.
I am curious what the end game with banana ball is. Does it stick around like the globe trotters? Surely it can’t become its own 30 team league. I’m interested to see what happens once the novelty wears off. But something about that yellow tux Jessie guy just irks me like a used car salesman.
