Holmes with 12 k’s through 5.1 innings, hasn’t allowed a hit…and trails 1-0 on an unearned run. How 2025 Braves of us.

Losing 1-0 with our pitcher throwing a no-hitter (until just now)

And as I post, he gives up a hit. I’ll just be over here in the corner now.

Also, lol at us entering the season thinking Arcia was a viable SS option on a contending team when, months later, one of the worst teams in the history of MLB is now playing him at 1B.

Starting pitcher has 15 Ks and you’re immediately down 7-1 when he leaves the game. How is that even possible?

Atl sports teams find the absolute most incredible ways to lose throughout history. Regular season not exempted. Has already happened half a dozen times or more before the all-star break this season alone

score is 1-10 against the worst team in MAJOR LEAGUE HISTORY to this point after Holmes throws a dozen plus strikeouts.
It’s truly incredible to watch this sad sack of a shite team underperform in almost record breaking fashion.

We won the series.

If we win every series the rest of the way, we’ll finish 93-69.

At everyone else’s current pace, that would make us the 3rd wild card.

We won’t win every series. Meaning there will need to be some sweeps assuming there are still playoff aspirations. Not going to have a better opportunity for that than having a historically bad team at home.

Well we are only 13 games out of first but only 1.5 ahead of the Nats and 2.5 ahead of the Marlins. What's worse is we have not shown any indication that we can manage to even play .500 ball the rest of the way.

This team, as currently constructed, won’t even sniff .500, much less make the playoffs.
