Next to Winn-Dixie on Siegen@Perkins. Place is amazing. Nice large private rooms. Cool vibes. $65/hr for 4 people.

They must have just opened, I passed by earlier this week and opened the door to stacks and stacks of boxes

The buildout looks good, but how can you not figure out how to get a projector to fit the screen. That part looks like shite.

Went yesterday and played Augusta while watching the US Open. I honestly didn’t even notice that.

How accurate is the launch monitor? What do they use?

It looks like a Uneekor Eye XO2, so it should be pretty accurate.

Going to swing by this evening after work. Will report back.

What software do they use? Augusta doe not allow companies to put Augusta National on their programs.

Can't recall but the course was called Georgia Golf Club or something like that.

That’s GSPRO. I have it. It is listed as Georgia Golf Club. The recently remade the course and it looks fantastic.

GS Pro has alot of user created courses that are replicas of famous places that skirt the rules. Though, at any given moment I wouldn't be surprised if they get taken down.
The only course last time I looked that was actually on GS Pro from the state of louisiana is TPC New Orleans but it's called "DPC New Orleans". If I remember correctly many of the TPC courses are named that way to get around the rules.

I believe that to be correct, but Louisiana courses have the ability to be built. I had Tekbud rebuild my home course from LA from when I was younger. It closed down and he did an awesome job with Lidar data. I would expect Squire and Metairie CC to be built at some point.

I went the other day and went through my bag and thought the data was very accurate. I'm a 2.5 index for reference and I was pleasantly surprised on the playability of their SIM compared to other ones I've tried. The putting and short game was much smoother than the Full Swing sims I've used at other places.
I will be back and I think it will be a good spot to bring clients with the private rooms.

Convinced these are money laundering operations
Northshore has two and they are always empty
The only one I have ever seen busy is the one in old Metairie and that’s full of culture and the hitting bays are completely empty

I meant to follow up on my last visit.
Place was really nice, staff was friendly and helped me get set up. I think with tax it was under $75 for an hour. Helped me get some club path data I was trying to improve on. My buddy split it with me and he talked to them about a membership option while I was leaving. Definitely prefer it to the other options in town.
Tried to get into Loft 18 on a Tuesday at 4:45 and was told the wait would be an hour so I sat and ate and did some work on my computer and a bay freed up in 30 minutes. Not near as nice as Swingeasy. Had more of a TopGolf inside feel. Had some yutes next to me ackin up so that was a big negative for me.

Swing path data is a big plus. Seems like the only public sim with that data available. Most usually just have spin rate and ball speed aside from the other basic metrics.
What other metrics do that have? Club speed, attack angle, smash?

It has all the swing, ball, and face to path metrics. It's legit.

we tried Loft 18 and the sim was not accurate at all.
Posted on 7/15/25 at 10:57 pm to CBandits82
Loft 18 in Metairie is just something for mom’s to get drunk while their kids are entertained by the bays and usually not even golf games
