Ok, maybe my mind is slow today... The 50th anniversary was in 1996, Warren Morris, etc. That was 29 years ago.
I think it's the 75th year in Omaha, and 1996 marked the 50th year overall? The first few years of CWS were not held in Omaha.

Correct the first CWS was in 1947, George Bush was Yale's team captain, they lost in the championship.
