Airbus flight

My wife and I sat in premium economy seats on upper level of an A380 last year. It was nice enough that I would do it again on a long flight on that plane.

Lufthansa still flys a bunch of 747s.

Hell yes! There's a senator lounge that faces the "alley" that has nothing but 747-800s and A380s in it. Got to fly on both on one trip to Joburg from Houston and back.

On the Lufthansa A380s there is a mini coach cabin of 37(ish) seats on the second level in a 2-4-2 layout. There are two dedicated lavatories for that cabin and 2-3 flight attendants. The 2 seats on either side have cubbies for storage so they aren’t up on the wall/window.

I flew IAH-FRA in the coach upper deck and it was way better than the lower deck when I took a walk to stretch my legs. That was a few years ago, but if it is the same price as the lower deck pick some seats up there.
