They kept calling him the #1 putter on tour while he misses straight in 5 footer on first playoff hole, and 3 putts the 4th playoff hole to lose.
Incredible luck for Fox, who said so. Left breaking putt on his final hole breaks 2 inches to creep in left side of the hole to get in playoff. Then fats his second shot on 2nd playoff hole that barely clears lake and he ties the hole. Really bad luck for Sam all the way around, but good news is that he is playing better tee to green than he has all year. Maybe next week will balance out the breaks and he will win the Open.
