Thanks for the heads up.

Finished a re-watch of The Sopranos last night so I'm looking for something to put on tonight.

I feel that the Predator series lends itself very well to the Animation side of things, and they should do more

I think this is supposed to be an anthology series so there will probably be more

Same here

We were talking, the 3rd act was not nearly as good... but I guess they needed that skill.

Loved the Viking and Japanese segments. The WW2 one was over the top a bit IMO. Some really cool Predator weapons in all 3 parts. I’ll echo what others have said and say it is way better than it has any business being. Initial reaction is it’s the best in series since the OG. Enjoyed it a lot.

SPOILERS***

-Loved the idea that the notion of Grendel came from a Predator.
-The non-verbal storytelling in the Japanese segment was SO well done. —The third act suffered in comparison. Dude leaving the cockpit of a fighter plane to go out on the wing mid dogfight was some BS.
-was that not the gun that Danny Glover gets at the end of P2? Does that out this somewhere before 90s?
-Wonder if Arnold is somewhere in that cryo repository too
-It’d be interesting to see the Preds vs some other aliens species too

This was really good. The ww2 story was less so. I guess they wanted something different than hand to hand.

So where I'm confused. Do he Predators just freeze the best killers that kill them and save them to fight later? Or was some time machine stuff involved?
You had the 8th century vikings, 17th century ninja and the 20th century pilot.
Did the predators freeze the viking and tell her story for 1000 years or how else would the predator King want to fight her and the other two?

Remember that the girl from Prey get the gun at the end of the movie. She's in cryo, so they're took the gun from her.

They needed a pilot with mechanical skills for the ending, is all I can figure. Because that story goes against the whole concept of Predators hunting dangerous game; where's the challenge? You have a spaceship (that can also go underwater) with auto-targeting heat-seeking weapons going against propeller airplanes with fixed machine guns. Those airplanes wouldn't stand a chance against 1960's military aircraft, let alone today's planes, ... forget a Predator's spaceship.

Maybe best not to think about it too deeply

I guess they have a collection of stored killers that they like to defrost and pit against each other from time to time; but the choice here was weird. The ninja is the only one who actually straight won (although it was 2-on-1). The Viking chick put up a solid fight, and forced her Predator to do something dumb to kill itself, or she was toast. And the pilot, he's toast in seconds.
The ninja would have won that fight as soon as he wanted to.

I would like to see them shown winning predators. All we ever get are the ones that lose.

Yeah. Like how did that one predator have a cloak made of xenomorph tails. That was badass.

I would like to see a movie from the Predator's perspective. Have him go a few different planets hunting.

Before they lose, they do a whole lot of winning.
