We have 15 threads about how great Dyson is and how stupid we are for trading him (and a handful of similar threads about Josh Hart). Imagine if we were Kings fans watching Halliburton just dominate in the clutch in the playoffs!

The Kings traded Halliburton because they didn't think he was a good fit with Fox. They also passed on Luka because they already had Fox (and drafted Marvin Bagley instead). And then Fox got traded for peanuts. Oof.

Our star is either hurt, fat or raping people. I would kill to be a Kings fan right now.

I mean if Griff knew what he was doing, he would have moved up two spots and snagged Haliburton.

I said it multiple times in the draft thread that year when he started sliding out of the top 5

Griff was gonna trade him if he fell to us anyway.

It’s usually easy to say look who passed on him when he fell so far but everyone on this board and Pelicans media were praying he fell to us. Let’s be real though, we would have wasted him.

I've always thought it was such a loser mentality to lament how Griff would have traded Haliburton if he fell to us. So many other things to be down on this organization for other than a bad move that never even materialized.

But congrats on being an eagle-eyed scout who saw the promise in Haliburton!

A lot of people believed in Haliburton. It wasn’t something like Giannis or Jokic.

We gave them Buddy and a 2017 1st for a broken Boogie

They traded Buddy for Sabonis

We could have used that 1st for Jarrett Allen

If you start playing the what if game - if gets sad

We did not trade for a "broken Boogie." Boogie was awesome for us. Until he wasn't. We broke Boogie.

100%. He was taking a massive load for us. Dude played hard as hell for us. Most fun I’ve had with this team since CP3. No Boogie slander. Dude was so fun to watch before injury.

I was trying to think of big trades the pels/hornets have won. Tyson Chandler is a big one. Boogie, had he not gotten severely hurt, would've been another. Not a lot of good luck in the trade dept.
