Never thought I'd say this but wanna take my wife to a Houston Dynamo game. I haven't been to a soccer game since I was banging a goalie 25 years ago in high school. Any recommendations for 2 non soccer people to make it a good time? I've had several people tell me that even non soccer people can easily get caught up in all the enthusiasm in the crowd.

My last dynamo game was almost twenty years ago but even back then I enjoyed it a lot. Be wary of the weather (heat).

Sit on the west side of the stadium facing east.

Have a couple of cold beers and enjoy. Soccer games go by quickly with halftime being the only stoppage in play.

Try to get club seats either on the east or west. The food, beer, and wine is complimentary. You can hide in the a/c if the temperature is too hot or if it starts raining. The ticket prices normally go down the week of the game.

Check out Little Woodrow's before the game and use SpotHero to find a parking spot close-by. I usually park in an empty lot ($10) that is within 5 minutes of Little Woodrow's and the Dynamo stadium is very close as well.

Most MLS games are pretty expensive for the quality you pay for.

Best time to go is when your team sucks and people are dumping tickets below FV
