Keep it simple…favorite Mexican beer…I’m partial to Victoria…rim a glass with salt or Tajin, Clamato, Maggi or soy sauce will do in a pinch if you can’t find Maggi, Worcestershire or W-Sauce, juice of a couple of limes, your favorite Mexican hot sauce.

I’m much more a chelada guy though.

I had a recipe years ago, but you hit all the things it needs. Clamato is the key, along with a lot of limes. And get Victoria lager, any Mexican grocery store will have it. I think I’ve even bought it at Albertsons.
I love drinking those things in the summer. My wife and friends think they’re gross, but I DGAF

In Isla Mujeres I had a Michelada Tamarindo that I’m still trying to out the recipe together. Can’t get the right tamarind syrup I think

I was in the Mexican countryside last week and this is how they made them:

Tajin rim
Juice from a whole lime (those small spherical Mexican ones)
Tajin in the liquid
Hot sauce
Victoria or corona familiar

No Clamato, it was delicious. I had a lot of them
