Buying a Used UTV

Price is right, got the features I want: does not appear to be modded (it’s all stock) and looks clean from the pictures. I’m going to look at it this weekend. The seller says it had one owner who traded it in for the new ridge that just came out. It’s a 2022 model defender limited.
Besides all the usual things (test drive, visually inspect, ask for maintenance records, test the function of all the equipment) what else should I look for or do before purchasing?
I know the caveat about buying these things used, but new one is not in my price range and not taking a loan out to buy a fun toy.

Man when it comes to used ATVs and UTVs I’m always nervous the previous owner flooded it.

I wouldn't buy one of their ragged out ones for 1000 unless you're a mechanic.

I picked up a used 2014 Viking from a guy, his wife made him sell it becuase it didn't have back seats for the kids. He owned it for a month, the previous owner was an old man who used it to drive around his property. It had 100 hours on it and has been great for me, I can't tell you how many I passed on before this one showed up on my radar.

There’s not much else you can do really. My sxs looks like shite right now, probably has mud jammed in all underneath the frame, but I know it’s in great mechanical shape from using it almost every day. They aren’t made of glass, odds are if nothing is moaning or clicking in the suspension and it runs good at this stage then it will continue to with regular maintenance.

Average speed. The higher the better.
Never buy anything with an average speed below 7 mph.
It was either all mud or all low speed (meaning low oil pressure) usage.

Someone tell these old frickers in my club. I'm tired of fixing things for them just because they hunted with my paw paw since 25 years before I was born.
