I know that the quality of food can suffer at events like rehearsal dinners. With that said, any suggestions on places to look at for a rehearsal dinner (well known or otherwise).

I've been to one at Broussard's that was really good and one at Tony Angello's that was all right.

Had mine at Ralph's On The Park. Food was great. The chef was really flexible and helped us to create some off the menu dishes that we liked better (nothing crazy, just mixing different sides with meats and getting a different type of fish). The coolest part was that before hand the weather was nice and my party had drinks on the balcony overlooking City Park. Another thing to keep in mind is parking. Often times out of town guests have a hard time navigating the quarter. Ralph's was easy for my guest to find and the complementary valet parking helped out a lot.
