Speed at WR

I know Cooks is older, but I'm assuming he can still open up the speed if need-be. I've heard that the new kid Dixon is a burner as well. With Shaheed wide out as well, do we lay off of a lot of the crossing-routes that puts these guys in harms way? I feel like you could run a bunch of go-routes, comeback routes and stop-n-go routes I feel like if Shough can put enough air on the ball and hit them in-stride, it may take a little bit of pressure off of the run-game.

With speed on the field at almost all times teams are going to have to play 2 high a majority of the team. But this is an opportunity for someone like Juwan or Even Bub Means take advantage of the MOF while shaheed olave and cooks take the top off

The defense can just frown at Cooks and Olave and they’ll get injured.

It sure as hell doesn’t take much for Olave to get a concussion
I wonder if the moronic fans around here (including Olave’s dumbass brother) will still blame Carr if he gets another one? I’m sure these idiots will find a way to

As long as the Saints continue to retool on the offensive and defensive lines, I'm good with it for now. The defense was flat out awful stopping the run last year and the offense had a big stretch where it couldn't even move into field goal range.
An awful combo.
it's all tied together in the game flow.
Back to the WR's though...
Peoples-Jones has 15.5 yards per catch in 58 games. 122 catches.
6'2 204. interesting to see if he'll end up being in the mix.

We all know what's been said many times about the size of our WR group.
It seems the answer may be in the 6'2"s.
We have 4-5 guy's in this range. Be nice to see one or two stand out in camp.

My understanding is that CKM likes to run the ball and control the clock. Lots of 3rd and short with deep shots two or three times a game. Thing about deep shots is that the offensive line needs to protect and you need a successful running game to set up those deep passes.
I think we need someone like Means or Johnson to step up and be that dependable safety blanket. Kamara can help in that area too, but I don’t know if that’s Moore’s MO or not.
It’s been so long since we had a non-CSP/Carmichael offense (last year doesn’t count because we had only two games without injuries limiting our roster) I don’t know what to expect. Kinda exciting.

Should've taken Nick Nash in the draft.

You use that speed for crossing and drag routes. Higher % play and let the speed win in the open field.
