It’s wild. He does it constantly.

And bitch at me all you want but the way he handles weather is consistent with how he handles games like this. He coaches more with “fear of losing” than “a hunger for winning”

He still has skins on the wall and success so I’m not off the wagon, but tomorrow is absolutely MASSIVE for his coaching arc

How about the players and their hunger to win? Don’t see that tonight.

Leaving Mayers in in B8 is the only time that's been on the table. You have to make a decision and not going to Cowan/Evans is the right move.

People said he was "waiving the white flag" with Williams, and all WIlliams did was shut down LR for 4 innings.

Would you prefer Jay burn the only competent arms we have left down multiple runs? I get you people have to find something to complain about but this is just foolish lol

Maybe pitch Evans to start instead of being a giant pussy starting noot and you would have had a 3 run lead before Evans ever hit the damn mound

He did not give up dummy he’s not burning Evans or Cowan down 6-4 he needs them tomorrow.

You could say he almost gave up when Mayers started walking people

Annually overhyped overrated club that hit lighting in a bottle with 2 generational players in 23

I get what you saying but how can he give up what he has left pitching wise(Evans and Cowan)when we "cant hit to save our lives" anyway?

This team may be the poorest hitting good team in LSU history.

Yeah i thought exact same if they have to play tomorrow.

If he can’t get out a regional 3/4 years now and especially this one after the setup it’s gonna be tough for him.

Pitching was more than good enough to win tonight. Bats should have had 10 runs midway through.

He’s planning how to win tomorrow. The unc coach talked about it during their game. He saved guys even when the game was close in case they play tomorrow. They are playing tomorrow and have pitchers they trust.

I sure wouldn't bring in Rizy in this game. He will undoubtedly be needed tomorrow, so it would seem best not to show LR his stuff tonight in a losing cause.

He has to save someone to pitch tomorrow. It’s not like we’re Little Rock, who happens to pull Greg Maddux out of their arse.
